Directions
Leave the A1 at signpost: Alnwick.
Straight ahead at roundabout.
Continue to second (mini) roundabout straight ahead into town.
Pass Alnwick Infirmary on right and turn right at War Memorial signposted Denwick.
After 500m turn right into Alnwick Garden Car Park.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE MAIN ROAD OR VERGES ON THE DENWICK ROAD

Parking charges will be £3.50 in main Alnwick Garden car park or £2.00 in Overflow Car park per day.
Leave car at car park and walk via Denwick Road to Pastures Entry (approx 500m).
Please follow direction signs and marshal's instructions.
Registration
Toilets, limited changing, and Registration are at the Duchess High School Bailliffgate site.
2 Portaloos are available for use near the Start.
Follow directions as above BUT instead of turning to Denwick continue through town centre to Castle Entrance. The school is opposite side of road from entrance. Note Parking is very limited in this area.
Please note that this is 1 mile from the start/finish area. There will be no race parking in the Pastures (except First Aid & Officials). Please only park while you register or change, and then park at Gardens Car Park.
The course
Grassy flattish start to the lap heading west, vaguely towards the castle. Then a modest climb, then fall, followed by a short steep hill then a bit of a drag up to woods. Then a lovely 'forest ride' section, mainly flat, rising at the end before a lovely downhill hammer to the start/finish area. Three laps for the men, two for the women. Lovely course.
